Manhattan’s Skyscrapers Through the Lens of Florian Mueller

The latest craze in experimental photography seems to center around the artistic technique that layers multiple images atop of one another, which has been aptly dubbed multi-layered composite photography. Recently we’ve seen Stephanie Jung’s photographs of European cities and Pep Ventosa’s impressionistic take on famous landmarks, however Florian Mueller looks to reach the heart of the 8 million people that reside in New York with his Multivision series.

“A new series of multi-layered and multi-exposured photographies. Hectic and calming at the same time. A kind of contemplating wimmelbild,” says Mueller of his work. As Manhattan takes on a hazy painted look, tell us what you think of this latest photographic trend.
