Created by French restaurateur Claude Rouas and his partner Robert Harmon, between the Cabernet-sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay vines of Napa Valley lies Auberge du Soleil, an elegant hotel hidden amongst a grove of olive trees that evokes a love of Provence and the South of France.
Auberge du Soleil offers five Maison rooms, three Maison Suites, four Masion Calais and two Private Maisons, these spacious “maisons” are perched on the hillside overlooking the sculpture garden which features over 100 works by renowned artists. All guest rooms, suites and Maison’s feature Mediterranean -inspired decor with original contemporary art, Italian linens,down bedding and duvets with private terrace, abstract paintings and fireplaces, creating an air of romance.
The Auberge Spa occupies 7,000 square feet overlooking the Napa Valley, utilising natural ingredients indigenous to the region. Treatments feature house-infused oils, as well as calendula, rosemary, lemon balm and other herbs cultivated by the therapists in the spa’s garden.
15,000 bottles in the wine cellar assembled by Wine Director Kris Margerum to perfectly complement Auberge’s innovative menus inspired spired by the bounty of Napa Valley,will transport wine connoisseurs to heaven, as they watch the sun setting on the horizon.
